Tried It Tuesday: Window Paint

Today was my last day with students (I didn't do very well with saying goodbye) and my daughter's birthday-kind of crazy around here, but I didn't want to miss out on my sweet friend Holly's Tried It Tuesday! Just a quick idea I wanted share that I do at the end of school and on my children's birthdays. I know some of you aren't out for summer and thought you might want to try window paint with your own children!

For my daughter...

For my son...
For everybody!

My kids loved it! And everytime someone honks, they go CRAZY!

Go check out everyone's great ideas at Holly's linky!

***Don't forget to link up Saturday with an idea you're motivated to try or something you want to use to motivate your students!

  1. Too cute!! I am sure you brought huge smiles to your children's faces. Sometimes the simplest things are the most memorable!!

  3. What a cute idea! I'm sure your kids loved it. Sorry you had to say goodbye to such a great class. It is always hard to end the year when you have enjoyed the class. Hope your daughter had a great birthday!

  5. I know you are going to be shocked to hear this, but I am stealing this idea! That's right, stealing it!. Only I will put a footnote on the window saying "Inspired by Joanne". I decorate my girls doorway while they are sleeping for their birthday morning and decorate the light above our dining room table and set the table up. I also write a message on our kitchen blackboard - but this is being added to the line-up!!

  6. This is a fantastic idea. I am going to put it in my file for one day when I have kids! I think it would be a little silly if I paint my car window and it is just me!
